“If you're just discovering 'Beat Hazard' from this app, do yourself a huge favor and be sure to also check it out on Steam for the PC. This Android port is simply amazing - it plays smoothly all the time (Stock Nexus 7 & Rooted / ROM'd Galaxy Nexus) and feels identical to it's PC counterpart with a more mobile-centric interface. The only reason I took one star away is due to there being in-app purchases, which I feel is uncalled for given it's ~$5.00 price tag. I hate in-app purchases in all of their forms, but I can understand having them in free apps. In a $5 app, though, I see no reason for them. Keep in mind, though, they do NOT detract from the gameplay and are entirely optional. No part of the game is locked, requiring real money to progress. Everything that can be bought through in-app purchases can be earned through...playing the game. And, really, that's the point isn't it? So it's not a big deal, but still a bit disappointing. All in all, an absolutely fantastic addition to the Android gaming community.”
